In cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate, the Amman Stock Exchange held an awareness lecture on first aid

As part of its continuous efforts to promote community awareness and enhance sustainability concepts, and within the initiatives organized by the Social Responsibility Committee under the slogan “Serving the Local Community,” the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) hosted a specialized awareness lecture on first aid. The lecture was delivered by a number of Civil Defense personnel to employees of the ASE and the capital market institutions.

The lecture aimed to raise participants’ awareness and enhance their ability to properly handle emergency situations and various injuries by introducing them to the basics of first aid and the procedures that should be followed in emergency situations until specialized medical teams arrive.

The lecture included both practical and theoretical explanations of several common cases, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), dealing with choking incidents, burns, and wounds, in addition to raising awareness about the importance of quick response and its role in preserving individuals’ safety and reducing complications.

This event comes as part of the ASE’s commitment to supporting activities and community initiatives aimed at spreading health awareness and promoting a safe work environment, in line with its sustainability and social responsibility objectives.
