The ASE Requested Listed Companies to File the Financial Statements of 2019 before the End of Specified Period

Chief Executive Officer of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) Mr. Mazen Wathaifi said that the ASE is still receiving the audited annual financial statements reports of the period ended on December 31, 2019, from companies listed on the ASE.

Listed companies must submit their annual financial statements reports audited by their auditors until the end of June 15th 2020, by virtue of the Board of Commissioners of Jordan Securities Commission's decision dated 4/5/2020 to extend the date to the 15th of June.

Accordingly, the ASE will suspend trading in shares of the breaching company as of the first working day following the deadline of receiving the reports until the company submit the ASE with the required reports by virtue of Article (15/B/6) of the Listing Directives with the aim to enhance the protection of investors, transparency and disclosure in Jordan capital market, and help investors in being acquainted with the companies' information and results during the whole fiscal year. The ASE circulates these reports to the brokerage firms and posts them on the ASE website www.exchange.jo under the Circulars and Disclosures/ annual reports window to be reachable for those interested.

Further, the ASE will announce through media the breaching companies which did not submit their audited annual reports in specified time.
